Who are the Ruuna?

The Ruuna are an alien species of humanoid-looking dragons who can eat gemstones. They were artificially created by a group of aliens known only as the admins. The Ruuna were created and adapted to live on their homeworld, capable of eating minerals since it was a mineral-rich environment that had very little organic life around, but the Ruuna grew very powerful and managed to fly out of their homeworld and into other planets. their gem specific biology, while able to grant them great powers, leads to catastrophic consequences for themselves when it comes to eating things that cannot be synthesized by their system.

Anatomy

The Ruuna are a humanoid, dragon-looking alien species. They have a pair of horns that can be any time or size, their bodies have spikes, though the amount varies depending on the individual, and they have hoof-claw-like toes and fingers. The Ketarin spikes, claws, and horns can be made of specific minerals and gemstones. The body of a ruuna is covered in an insulating layer of fur; that fur is resistant against cold temperatures but also against extreme temperatures and exotic energies, including radiation. They have a pair of massive, feathery wings that help them fly.

Special info

Ruunas have a unique digestive system that allows them to digest minerals. They don't have ay intestines, isntead they have multiple stomach chambers that each break down the minerals through four steps.

Chamber 1: Detection/Storage

This is the first stomach chamber where everything they eat goes. Eating the wrong minerals can lead to catastrophic side effects and since Ruunas cannot vomit stuff out, if it gets in the deeper chambers this stomach chamber can sense the general composition of what is stored there like an early warning safety system. If it's the wrong composition they will throw up, if it's alright, it will get passed in the lower chambers.
